    "A BLAST FOR ALL HAMS"

    * Located Downtown Hawkins, Tx. At The Park Pavilion
    * Saturday October 23, 2010
    * Talk In Frequency 146.640 With A PL Of 136.5

    * Covered Flea Market
    * No Admission Charge
    * Outside Tailgate Space At No Charge
    * Donations Will Greatly Be Appreciated
    * Slow Scan Kids Picture Demo on 2 Meters

    * Tables Are $10.00 EACH And Chairs Are $.75 EACH And Need To Be
    Reserved By Mail To Gordon Reynolds, 4351 FM 1404, Big Sandy, Tx 75755,

    * We Have 20 Tables And 15 Chairs ordered And Can Get More So
    Get Your Order In As Soon As You know Your Coming.

    * Refreshments Include Donuts, Coffee, Coke, Dr. Pepper, Bottle Water,
    And Cold Milk For Little Kids And Big Adult Kids Also.

    * Electricity Is Available And Set-Up Will Start At 6:00 AM Saturday Morning.

    * The Goal Of The Organizers Is For This Hamfest To Be One That Breaks
    Even And It Pays All Expenses.

    * The East Texas Piney Woods Hamfest Is Family Friendly And We Welcome
    Kids XYL'S And YL's.at the city park behind CNB Bank located in downtown Hawkins on Hy 14.

    I attended this Hamfest a couple of years ago and it was Great, relaxed pace, had time to talk to friends. I found great deals on an antenna and a box of components. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone living in the area.

    Hamfest

    I just moved to Monroe, LA and look forward to this little hamfest. I will post when we get back. Look forward to meeting some TX's hams. LOL

    Hamfest

    I am very disappointed noone was at the pavilion when we got there at 11:30. Drove all the way from Monroe, LA, oh well. Stopped at my favorite food place "Joe's Crab Shack" there in Shreveport. Need to look for bigger hamfest in the BIG state of TX! :)

    Sorry Dave , It was pretty much over by 1030. Nice crowd but everyone came early like 7 am because of the possible rain. Come early next year. Hi HI
