    We're not gonna hold our breath for new 25, look @ how cycle 24 turned out!!! It was held by those in the KNOW THAT IT WOULD REALLY "KICK-BUTT", but alas "IT WAS ONLY A WHIMPER!!! My guess is along the line of a"ONE-HUNDRED YEAR MAUNDER EVENT!!!", but of course it remains to be seen one way or the other. :-/

    It will be nice ,maybe I can work some good DX on my "weak" 100 watt station.

    They say the 25th solar cycle will be weak and will peak in 2025 at a level similar to the 24th solar cycle. If this is the case, then the 25th solar cycle (like the 24th before it) will be one of the weakest since the beginning of observations in 1755. However, powerful solar flares can occur at any time. Even during the solar minimum, a geomagnetic storm can occur, so radio outages, power outages, and severe geomagnetic storms are possible in the coming years.
