The Leonids will be making their 2000 debut in about two
weeks! APRSdos users are reminded that there is a Meteor
Mode built-in and ready to be used. Please take the time to
refamiliarize yourself with it and get ready for the
    Leonids...

There are already a good group of folks who are advertising
that they will be active. Take a moment to look over the
METEORegistry page that Rich Parry put together. This is an extremely efficient
way to advertise your activity so others can be on the
lookout for you. On the site, you'll find a map that shows the 4-quadrants of North America so you will be able to quickly determine which of the 15-second TX-segments you should participate in.

As has become the custom, we'll be on 147.585-MHz (2-meters)
and 53.530-MHz (6-meters). Get ready to have some fun!
