    Hi all
    Any advice appreciated.

I just downloaded my logbook from QRZ to upload to loTW, only 100 entries , but they all arrived into TQSL with an error in the grid square - it showed one in my country but for some London grid , not mine. Upon checking TQSL and QRZ, there are no input errors for my grid square, they are all good.

I could go though by hand and change them I guess, but I would have to do that individually and don't really want to.

What is the solution to this please?

    Thanks

Are your Logbook Properties set correctly?

Thanks for pointer but they are 100% correct. The grid is just a 'random' real grid in a city about 150 miles away. It's not something I could have ever have entered by accident or in error

UPDATE - Dumb error admission. Many thanks @KP4SX. Get your 'eye roll' emojis ready for me

I went to double check and found it to be wrong....I really don't know how it went wrong between my initial set up and going back to it 2 mins ago. It seems like it dragged that wrong grid in from somewhere, somehow.

Well, just downloaded the updated .adi file (with correct grid) with my qso's from qrz and it still imports with the previous incorrect grid ...totally baffled now

Changing your settings to the correct one only affects QSOs you make going forward. It does not retroactively update QSOs you already have logged.

Many thanks @KF8KI , I understand this now. For anyone else who manages to mess up like this, then my solution was to open the .adi file in text editor (I am on a MacBook), then 'find and replace' the spurious grid entry for my own and save in LoTW. It was a work-around.

If you've corrected that ADIF file and didn't change other information like dates, times and callsigns, you can also re-upload it to QRZ and it will update the corrected QSOs for any that aren't already confirmed. Confirmed ones would have to be fixed manually.

Also, if you find yourself tweaking ADIF files in the future, you should check out ADIF Master: https://www.dxshell.com/adif-master.html Very powerful, and will keep you from accidently goofing up an ADIF tag in a text editor.

Thanks for pointers, that is helpful.
I am on a MacBook OS, so couldn't run ADIF master, I had to do them in TextEditor and save that way. It wasn't as onerous as I thought as I could use 'find & replace' for the grid .
