    Mac Cody AE5PH gave a talk "Getting Into Amateur Satellites" to the Richardson (TX) Wireless Klub at their October 2017 meeting. Mac is the Klub's guru on satellite communications. He's worked 45 states and 10 countries over satellites.

    Mac explained the construction of the "AE5PH Satellite Battlestation" using 2 HTs, 2 home built antennas, an out of service Android phone and a specially constructed audio distribution box.

    At the end of the meeting, RWK members went outside to view a live demonstration making contacts during a pass of the AO-50 satellite.
