EPC Ukraine DX Contest RULES eng:


Competitions are held organization Ukrainian Section of the European PSK Club & NGO "Vinnytsia regional sports and technical radio club", Ukraine.


Start time: December 2, 2017 at 20:00 UTC
Ends: December 3, 2017 at 19:59 UTC

Mode: BPSK63.
Bands: 80 м, 40 м, 20 м, 15 м, 10 м

Aim: The popularization of digital mode in
Ukrainian section of the European PSK club & NGO "Vinnytsia regional sports and technical radio club", Ukraine invite all radioamateurs to take part in the annual EPC Ukraine DX Contest.Ukraine, holding the maximum number of QSO using digital modes.
The contest will be in the first weekend of December.
Type of work: BPSK63. The minimum operating time on the frequency range is limited to ten minutes.
Recommended frequencies:
3,582-3,590; 7,040-7,045; 14,072-14,080; 21,072-21,080; 28,072-28,090.
Limited to the minimum time work on a range of ten minutes.

CLASSES:
SOAB-24
[Single operator, all bands, 24:00.]
One operator performs all the necessary functions.
Only one signal is allowed to transmit at any time.
Output power shall not exceed 100 watts.
Operation time of 24 hours.

SOAB-12
[Single operator, all bands, 12:00.]
One operator performs all the necessary functions.
Only one signal is allowed to transmit at any time.
Output power shall not exceed 100 watts.
Total operation time not more than 12 hours.
The operator can make no more than three timeout.
Breaks should be stated:
SOAPBOX: Off time 07/12/13 20:00 - 07/12/13 21:00 1 hour
SOAPBOX: 07/12/13 24:00 - 08/12/13 08:00 8 hours
SOAPBOX: 08/12/13 16:00 - 08/12/18 19:00 3 hours
SOAPBOX: 1 +8 +3 = 12 hours
Timeouts are defined from the beginning of the contest.
If the operator worked more than 12 hours of its log automatically
moved in the category of SOAB-24. If it is determined that
the operator is intentionally removed from the log QSO, he will be disqualified.

SOLF
[One operator, 80 and 40 m , 24:00]
One operator performs all the necessary functions.
Only one signal is allowed to transmit at any time.
The operator can only work on 80 and 40 meters.
Output power shall not exceed 100 watts.

SOHF
[One operator, 20, 15 and 10 m , 24:00]
One operator performs all the necessary functions.
Only one signal is allowed to transmit at any time.
The operator can only work on 20, 15 and 10 meters bands
Output power shall not exceed 100 watts.

MOST
[Many operators, one transmitter, all bands, 24:00]
Only one signal is allowed to transmit at any time.
Output power shall not exceed 100 watts.
The station should work all 24 hours.
There is no age limit for the operators.

Each class will be two separate qualification:
1) Ukraine - all participants from Ukraine;
2) WORLD - among participants from all over the world.

EXCHANGES:
- Ukrainian stations:
RSQ and the number of administrative regions of Ukraine, for example Kharkiv Region : 599 UR11;
- The other participants:
RSQ and serial QSO number , for example 599001.
Common challenge - "CQ EPCUR TEST".

CONTACT POINTS:
1 point - within their own country;
2 points - with other countries on own continent;
5 points - with other continent;
10 points - with Ukrainian station.
QSO between Ukrainian stations is 1 point.
Note: Once QSO on each bands.

MULTIPLIERS:
DXCC countries + Ukrainian regions on each band.

SCORE:
The final score is the sum of the Contact Points multiplied by the Multiplier

AWARDS:
1) among all Ukrainian participants:
for first place in each of classes - CUP.
for second and third place in each of the classes - VYMPEL.
2) among the participants in all countries except Ukraine:
for first, second and third in the world in each of the classes - VYMPEL.
3) participants in each classification subgroup that will take place from the first to the tenth - BEAUTIFUL ELECTRONIC CERTIFICATE.

Logs are accepted only in electronic format Cabrillo .

DISQUALIFICATION:
The panel of judges will use the mechanism of the air monitoring in order to identify the participants, working in excess of admissible norms of IMD, creating significant QRM and violate the basic rules of the contest. Violators will be disqualified.
