The DeKalb hamfest was held at the fairgrounds in Sandwich, IL. This is generally SW of Chicago. After a long drought of hamfest attendance, it was great to see a good sized fleamarket again. Wx was warm, sunny, breezy: perfect. Lots of good rigs for sale and $ was changing hands. Not at all sure of attendance but guessing more than 500. It was great to see some folks I know after a LOOOOONG absence. WØIY
Many thanks for the info and photos. I'm originally from that area; I used to attend that hamfest every chance I could back in the 70s and 80s.
