    David Saunderson Beyer Dave, 76, died in his sleep November 28, 2017.
    He had been at a rehabilitation center in Parole after a hospital stay for heart and kidney failure.

    He was born July 30, 1941 in Minot, North Dakota, the only child of Roland K and Ruth Saunderson. He lived his early years in Cape Town, Algiers, Greece, Vancouver, Reykjavik, and Brussels.

    In 1965, Dave graduated from William and Mary College with a degree in Philosophy and taught 2 years in grade school.
    Then Dave made a career change. He spent his career working for contractors supporting communications projects at the Goddard Space Flight Center. He supported the Apollo Missions for which he received a Silver Snoopy.
    He received his Master degree from the University of Maryland in Technology Management.

    In 1971, Dave married Elizabeth (Betsy) Corwin, and they celebrated their 46th anniversary this year.

    Dave lived his adult years in Rockville and Annapolis. He was a HAM radio enthusiast, boater, lifelong student of all things interesting and a member of yacht clubs: RRBC, SSA, BCYC, and EYC.
    He was a cat lover with a very memorable cat Trolley from North Carolina who traveled by boat with him everywhere he went.

    He is survived by his wife, Betsy, who resides at the family home in Annapolis.

    A memorial gathering will be held at a later date in 2018.
