Clarence Coffey, 94, of Baytown was born November 3, 1922, in Cookville, TX and passed away Monday, September 4, 2017, in a local healthcare facility. He was a U. S. Navy WWII veteran and he retired from Exxon with 34 years of service. He was an avid ham radio operator for over 70 years and enjoyed connecting with his fellow ham radio operators every morning especially his good friend Dave Compton. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Don and Jenice Coffey of Baytown and his grandson, Stephen Coffey of Washington, D. C.
