The Anchorage Amateur Radio Club Volunteer Examiner Coordinator has expanded our remote testing program to applicants outside Alaska. Please read the following blog post with more information:

Canada? I'm not sure I understand the reasoning behind testing in Canada.

This allows for folks that are working in Canada with a U.S. mailing address to be given an opportunity to get an amateur radio license without having to make the trip, or for a VEC to send a testing team to them. Other VEC organizations are already doing testing overseas for U.S. amateur radio licenses. Hope that answers your question.

Due to State quarantine in Ohio for Corona Virus, are these types of remote testing going to be allowed?

Hey, Brandin, how can I become an accredited AARC VEC proctor? I'm a VE with ARRL-VEC and W5YI-VEC.

    Thanks,
