    This Event helps to bring well deserved attention to the crews who served onboard these fine vessels and also the current crew of volunteers who help to preserve and maintain them. The USS Salem is continuing this tradition of Volunteerism by hosting approx. 6000 Scouts during the course of this year as part of our Overnight Scouting Program.

    The USS SALEM RADIO CLUB-K1USN is sponsoring the 6th ANNUAL WORLDWIDE MUSEUM SHIPS WEEKEND during the full weekend of July 20 - 21, 2002. It begins at 0000 Z and runs for the full 48 hour period. We are expecting participation by more than 70 Museum Ships from throughout the World.

    Each participating ship will issue their own QSL cards. A certificate will be available from the USS Salem Radio Club for working 10 or more ships during the weekend event. Certificate is available by sending 9 X 12 SASE along with log information of ships worked to KC1XI - George Clisham, 126 Billings Rd, North Quincy, MA 02171  gclisham@attbi.com



    Operating Frequencies are: SSB- 3.860, 7.260, 14.260, 18.160, 21.360, 24.960, 28.360 and 50.160  CW - 3.539, 7.039, 10.109, 14.039, 18.099, 21.039, 24.899 and 28.039
