Great 10 meter openings Saturday morning 8:00am on

I check the QRZ band opening chart like most everyone else does and this morning and it looked hopeless then... a bunch of NE stations like on 28.375Mhz Boston area coming through like locals.

Yeah, 10 meters is just splendid.

 

I'm in Northern New England and I'm a lover of 10 Meters too. Haven't heard a think (FT8) since November and I check every day at least once.

 

I haven't been able to make any contacts on 10 lately, but every time I turned it on this weekend I heard someone (SSB). They were faint, and I had to slow down so as not to miss them,,, but they were there good enough to pickup on their call signs.

 

There's some east coast action right now

 

Yesterday 10M was good. I could not make contact, but I received strong signals from Santo Domingo, DR on 28.405, and St Just, PR on 28.385.

 

Upper HF bands are bit more active today.

Ten was DOA down here on Saturday (05-01-21), but it opened up a bit today. Six came open as well.

 

It is E time for 10 and 6

 

I got some good contacts on 10 today, no luck on 6 meters, but the antenna is not optimal.
