UA-WISC FOOTBALL RADIO TAILGATE OPERATION SAT SEPT 5: The Wisconsin Badgers and Alabama Crimson Tide meet to kick off their 2015 football seasons at 7 pm CT Sat Sept 5 on ABC. The radio clubs at Alabama (W4UAL) and Wisconsin (W9YT) will have a joint pregame on-air radio tailgate operation on 20 meter SSB from 11 am to 1 pm Central Time, generally operating on closely neighboring available frequencies between 14.265 and 14.285 MHz. W4UAL will return to the air on 40 meters in the vicinity of 7.188 from 2 to 3 pm CT for regional contacts. QSL requests should go to the individual stations at QRZ.COM addresses and a SASE with your card would be appreciated. Favored beam heading directions on 20m will be 11-11:30 am East Coast; 11:30 am - 12 N North-South (W9YT S and W4UAL N); 12 N-12:30 pm Southwest; and 12:30 - 1:00 pm CT West.
