The Fox Cities Amateur Radio Club (FCARC) is pleased to support the

The purpose of the Wisconsin Parks on the Air (WIPOTA) operating contest is designed to promote public awareness of ham radio within Wisconsin’s beautiful state park system.

The objective of WIPOTA is to have competing stations operate from as many Wisconsin parks as possible and work hams in other WI parks, as well as hams not located in a park in any state, province or country.

although it's not required to list your park, so there might be more out and about.
Weather forecast for Wisconsin is chilly start low of 44 degrees F,
and high of about 64 degrees F. No rain!
Might be some frost away from Lake Michigan.

I doubt it, but you can always try.
Start around 7.220 MHz, the suggested frequency.
My club will be using call sign W9FRG.

There are a lot of events going on in the USA this weekend
so there will be competition for the frequencies.

September 19 -- QRP Afield (CW, phone, digital)
September 19 -- Wisconsin Parks on the Air (Phone) <--- the best one!! :)
September 19 - 20 -- Collegiate QSO Party (CW, phone, digital)
