    I'm using 12v LiFePO4 batteries with a buck circuit with output of 13.8v to power an IC-705.

    Julian, have seen many of your videos. WELL DONE !!! JS8 is a fine mode for emcomm, I love it. Unfortunately Winlink is not reliable with QRP from JO33. Waiting with pleasure for your next videos and your contributation of emergency comms. I just live in my comfort zone but should leave it to improve my (survival)skills.

    New learnings: PC in a cube; rollup lightweight, waterproof solar.
    Reinforced learnings: Watch the current overhead
    Old learnings: 5000 BTU/hr propane ain't enough to heat an enclosed 21 foot fishing boat cockpit in April @ 42N...tent at your latitude...maybe...barely. Not a big fan of the CO and H20 combustion byproducts.
