In Japan, we still cannot predict the convergence of new coronavirus infections. This year, the amateur radio festival Ham Fair 2020 held at Tokyo Big Sight has been cancelled. It is very disappointing. The schedule was October 31, 2020 (Saturday) and November 1, 2020 (Sunday), but the event has been cancelled. 73 JF1IRQ
Japan is lucky in the COVID-sense to be an island nation. They didn't cancel the event to stop the spread of the astonishingly low (~31,000 cases total) country-wide, they cancelled it to prevent a surge via influx of foreign travel. For the rest of us, It's going to be a long time before whatever was normal, to be normal again, and the "doom and gloom" will continue to worsen if one actually follows the vast majority of politically biased news/journalism (at least in the States) out there. THAT, my friends, is the real global pandemic. Stay safe and 73
