Thanks for the review. I have one of these and the thing I would like to have seen included is a volume control. I know that the option of using an inline volume is simple enough, but I would like it built in. As it stands, I do think its very nice.

I repeated this over and over to myself. It was a nice try, but it din't work. Two weeks ago I received the MTR3b LCD, and love it.
Nice review. And yes, I too flipped the switch. Never looking back. The radio, paired with the EFT antenna, is awesome. What a blast. I haven’t been this excited about a radio since my KX3 or K1. Simply an amazing, little package with a punch. Wes WM7WM
