From time to time the various club newsletters I receive report on members who have become Silent Keys. Sometimes these announcements seem to find their way to QRZ fairly promptly, but I'm aware of at least a few SKs who still appeaar to have active records in QRZ. So... What is the appropriate way to report SKs so that their entries in QRZ can be modified appropriately? Who can make such reports? What supporting evidence is needed?
In this forum anyone can report a Silent Key. A "Family Notice" Obituary link is a huge help, or a link to a Funeral Homes Obituary is acceptable, and helpful "evidence". An Amateur Radio Clubs announcement in a newsletter, or webpage is a help also. You may also Email me. My Condolences in the loss of your Friends.
