Usually the mics on the cameras around the room can pick up the audience pretty well. But that's the 'noisy room,' separated from the hamfest din only by a thin, folding divider. Next time I record there I'll be sure to offer my roving wireless 'Donohue' mic.
Good presentation.. I like how he states that when someone does not know how to follow protocol or instructions, they do not get in the log even though he gives them a signal report to make them go away LOL... It's amazing how people do not listen or follow simple instructions when trying to break a pile up...
