Live webcast of G3RJV QRP talk

There will be a live webcast of the low power (QRP) talk to be given by George Dobbs G3RJV at the Lough Erne ARC Rally on April 11.

    From Ian G3ZHI:

The British Amateur Television Club's BATC streamer will webcast the Lough Erne ARC Rally including the QRP talk by George Dobbs G3RJV on this Sunday April 11.
On the following Saturday April 17, BATC will webcast the RSGB AGM.

To watch these and other BATC webcasts
    Go to http://www.batc.org.uk/
Click on the BATC streamer link, then go to live events

Sunday's Rally will be webcast from about 11.30 BST on the BATC streamer. To add your callsign into the chat box type /nick (your call) in the white text box.

The talk by Rev. George Dobbs, G3RJV will begin about 14.00 BST. It is titled QRP Why and How and will last about an hour including discussion. It is hoped that the talk will be added to the BATC website archive and be accessible there later.

These webcasts are examples of the wide variety of services offered by BATC to the amateur radio community. These include an excellent magazine. New members are very welcome.

Cyber membership, magazine by email, costs as little as £4.00 on-line. Membership gives individuals and clubs access to the BATC streamer allowing live webcasts from your shack or from a radio club display, talk or meeting.

I am looking forward to seeing and hearing George Dobbs. I've read his works and have always been impressed with his philosophical points of view.

To me, they are the most satisfying aspect of his presentations. He is very special.
