The W2UIS 2015 D Star Field Day QSO Party

    1800 UTC June 27 to 2100 UTC June 28 2015

    1. Purpose to contact as many different Amateur Radio Stations using D Star.

    2. D Star contacts made simplex, repeaters, or reflectors are authorized. I suggest using 146.420 for simplex contacts as long as it doesn’t interfere with a local FM repeater.

    3. You may use Transceivers, Dongles, and DVAPs

    4. Any power source is authorized.

    5. Logs should contain your call and location, stations worked call, their State, Province, or Country, and if the contact was simplex, repeater, or reflector.

    6. Please provide a summary sheet containing the number of QSOs, Sates, Provinces and Countries worked. How many contacts were simplex, repeater, and/or reflector.

    7. Submit a printout (pdf) of your log and summary sheet.

    8. Each D Star contact is worth one point.

    9. You can work a station only once, simplex, repeater and reflector.

    10. The objective is to work as many different stations using D Star.

    11. There are no multipliers.

    12. Logs are due to W2UIS by July 30, 2015.

    13. Email logs to mark.halabuda@frontier.com.

    14. Results will be sent either by email as well as on my QRZ page.

    15. There are no prizes, QSL Cards, or Certificates at this time.

    16. My goal is to obtain information to support the argument to the ARRL that D Star should be allowed by other than simplex contacts for field day participation.
