After a year of experimenting and building up a production routine, Steve Roberts, W1SFR has just launched a new site dedicated to his "Torsion Bar Keys". Current offerings include a single lever paddle/swiper and a straight key. Future plans are to introduce other designs using the same torsion bar mechanism. Rather than use magnets or springs, the torsion bar key uses a rigid bar attached to the key lever that twists under load and springs back to neutral when the tension on that bar is released.
