Born Sept. 2, 1949, to Mildred Robinson and Arthur Lyman McWherter in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Grew up in Star Valley, Idaho. Married his sweetheart Carol Farnsworth on Mar. 26, 1973. Was an avid scouter. Taught cubs for many years. Served on Pow Wow staff. Received District Award of Merit. Attended Wood badge. Awarded the Silver Beaver. Active in Ham Radio and taught others. Served in radio communications in parades and bike rides. Retired from Granite School district as a Locksmith. Survived by wife Carol. Preceded in death by parents. Funeral services Monday, May 4, 11 a.m., Wandamere Ward, 2700 S. 300 E., Salt Lake City. Viewings Sunday, May 3, 6-8 p.m., at the Ward and Monday, May 4, 9:45-10:45 a.m., at the Ward. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy.
