The Eastern Panhandle Traffic Net, a Local N.T.S. net , which meets Monday-Friday on the 147.255+ PL 123.0 (Echolink capable) repeater,at 6:45 Pm E.S.T.,(23:45Z) needs local hams to support the net.
New net controls from the 8th calling area,In Jefferson, Berkeley counties, or any 3rd, or 4th area callsigns, in range of the repeater, are asked to contact either myself (Bob, KG4RRN) or Frank, N4SLR, to volunteer to operate as Net Control, one night a week.
Previous experience not needed, we will train you.
A good opportunity for new technician class hams or
those who get home from work, and can devote 15-20 minutes one night a week, to the net.
You must be able to keep a written log of stations who checked in (total) , any traffic
bought and passed to the net, and total amount of minutes for traffic time/net time.
We handle traffic in the Eastern area of West Virginia. HF net liasons to the WV. Fone Net(experienced) are also welcome.
Please e-mail either Frank, N4SLR, or Bob, KG4RRN at our e-mail addresses , good on QRZ.
Our net is growing, after many months of hit or miss nets, and we appreciate all who check in. We are still in process of putting up a website,so please be patient.
    Thanks and 7-3,
    Bob Rice, KG4RRN
    Net Manager, EPTN
