TX7G - Marquesas

Grant (KZ1W) and I are happy to announce our TX7G DXpedition to Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas Islands (OC-027). Details at http://TX7G.com/


We'll be on the air 8 days October 18-26 including the CQ WW DX SSB contest. High power to vertical antennas right on the beach. We're currently open to sponsorships and are hoping to add an experienced CW operator to the team soon.


Marquesas is #71 (#47 for Europe) on the Club Log most wanted list. We will focus on low bands and on optimizing propagation to give many an opportunity to get Marquesas in their log books.


We hope to hear you on the air from Marquesas in October.

 

I'm happy to announce the addition of experienced CW operator Keith Witney (VE7KW) to the TX7G Marquesas Islands DXpedition team. Keith has operated on many DXpeditions, including several record-setting contest operations in Africa.
