    John Davis Shaw
    (August 3, 1943 - January 2, 2014)


    John Davis Shaw 70, of Stamford,VT. died Thursday January 2, 2014 at his home. He was born in Ann Arbor Michigan on August 3, 1943 a son of Marion (Davis) Shaw and the late Alex J. Shaw. He attended schools in Williamstown and graduated from Williston Academy. He was veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967. He enjoyed working with computers and HAM Radios. Survivors include his mother Marion Shaw of Williamstown, MA. and several cousins and an aunt. Graveside services will take place in the springtime in the family plot in the Williams College Cemetery. To send a card or a message, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com.

He will Greatly! be missed by the Ham Community, and by me as a personnel friend. I hope John is at piece with "Stinky". And getting ready for the next "Quest" in the afterlife.

    January 06, 2014 My Condolences, God Comfort all who knew John Shaw.

    John had an Extra Class Amateur Radio License, the Highest Class available to "Ham's". His Call Sign was K1DEU

    I talked to John Many times and shall
    miss hearing him on the Air. A very intelligent Man he had some interesting stories to share,
    and many interesting theories.
