Oops, we're doing it again! Our May 5th Ham party was such a great time, we're hosting another one before the snow flies. Join the Flying Beers International in Ferndale at RE BBQ once again for Buy/Sell Trade of HAM / Audio and other electronic stuff, show off your latest Hammy project, or just come out to socialize. This event, like the last one is a FUN-RAISER, not a fundraiser, so it is absolutely FREE to ATTEND. If you wish to set up in the vendor / demo area, bring us a six pack of Miller Highlife as a vendor fee. Bring your own tables, chairs and canopies if you need 'em. The FBI ARC is sanctioned by the ARRL, so we'll also have a couple gift certificates to give away as well as an on-site VE session at 12:00 - contact WI8W to register. Sunday's Swap HAS MOVED INDOORS! Due to Sunday's weather forecast continuing to degrade, we're moving the party indoors! The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 130 is just a few blocks away from RE BBQ, and it's easier to get to since you can avoid most of the road construction in the area. Best of all, it's indoors so we won't get wet or blow away in the wind storm. Outdoor seating and space is still available if you wish, but we have lots of banquette tables for your use indoors. As before, the Vendor fee is only a six pack of HighLife, and it's still 100% FREE to attend. What has changed: * The Swap is now indoors at 2233 Burdette St, Ferndale MI 48220 * Vendor Set up now starts earlier at 9:00AM. Everything else stays pretty much the same.
