I caught up with Jason Goldsberry, N5NU/TI2 in Texas where he was grieving the recent loss of his mother and dealing with the difficult process of settling her estate. We’d first connected when Jason was activating Parks on the Air TI-0015 while a missionary in Costa Rica. His next stop will be Santiago, Chile were he intends to be on the air again. Jason has had the privilege of operating a big Texas contest station and learning contesting from some of the best operators in ham radio. This was a fun conversation about operating ham radio outside of the US, Parks on the Air, contesting, and growing up in Texas.
