Ria (N2RJ) joins us to talk about amateur radio in STEM ( science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and special event stations contacting the International Space Station. What ideas do ya'll have to help generate interest Ham Radio for kids?
I actually do sleep, but very little. Thank you nonetheless. This charter school is a real find. I have to thank Vince, KD2TMJ for really going all out in this project. He's been a hard worker. There is a teacher licensed at the school, and they're doing an ISS contact. I taught them about drones and also about solar power (to use to charge and fly the drones). The kids had a blast and were very interested.
