It was just the night of May 1 I saw him operating on 20m FT8. +13 to me on the final CQ I saw, but never saw any responses to numerous stations calling him. The callsign stood out to me at the time, so was immediately recognizable in this notification. Sorry for your loss.
Rinse was active at 00:30 for the last time, on May 1th, he went to bed a passed away the same night. His neighbor found him in bed and call the police. Rinse was my friend and after his leg was amputated he was on Curacao for re validation near my house, so we haves lot of conversations together and we became good friends, so the loss of him feels like pain to me.
