    Donald E. Rodoni, KE6CFX SK

    Donald Earl Rodoni
    August 12, 1944 - September 25, 2017
Donald Earl Rodoni passed away recently at the age of 73. Don was a Bay Area native, living on the San Francisco Peninsula his entire life. He was a man with an amazing sense of humor and a wicked grin.

Don was a journeyman plumber for over 45 years, after returning from the Vietnam War. He went into the family business, Rodoni-Becker and Company, then on to Cooper Bros.

He did lighting and soundwork for the Rodoni family stage group, UnScene, while volunteering to help multiple small theater groups and Sunset Community School in the San Francisco area. He loved to tinker and putter. He would take apart, fix and rebuild most anything mechanical from radios to vehicles. His various other hobbies included being an avid Amateur Radio Operator, KE6CFX. He loved nature and animals and when younger, scuba diving.

Don was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Patricia Sankey-Rodoni. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer White and her husband, Gene, of Sutter, CA; two grandchildren, Alexa White and Eugene White IV, both of Lacey, WA; and one great-grandson, Nicholas White; his two brothers, Walter Rodoni, and his wife, Lisa, of Springfield, OR; and Carl Rodoni, and his wife, Lynn, of San Diego, CA.
