What makes your radio worth $85? Why should I choose it over a Baofeng 144/220 dual band HT that costs half that? Here: http://www.bridgecomsystems.com/collections/mobile-radios/products/bcm-220-mhz-mobile-radio
I lot more money than the Baofeng UV-82X that has both 2 meters & 220 mhz & are Nice HT's.What makes this one a Great Deal or so different? Clayton W4KVW
This is great Tim. There are a few 220 radios finally being made, but for some reason all the manufacturers are focusing on FM!!! What about SSB??????
All mode radios HAVE been made for 220 (FT-736, IC-375) but I'd personally still like to see 900 SSB some day. Luckily there is such a thing as a transverter.
UHFSDR .... covers to 708.5Mhz .... so 220mhz .. covered ... 902Mhz on the 3rd harmonic ....1.2Ghz too .....
Quick update. The logo has changed slightly and a new picture is on BridgeCom's site. Also the programming software is a free download and is available on the support page if you want to take a look. More details to come next week.
