    CHRISTOPHER RAYBURN

    February 13, 1977 - June 12, 2015 OKLAHOMA CITY
    Christopher (Chris) Andrew Rayburn 38, of Oklahoma City, passed away on June 12, 2015. Chris was born on February 13, 1977 to Berry & Barbara Rayburn.
    Growing up Chris was an Eagle Scout and played in the band at U.S. Grant High School where he graduated from in 1994.
    In 2007, Chris received his Associate's Degree in Political Science. Chris also attended Army Basic Training at Ft. McClellan, AL. Chris enjoyed being a HAM radio operator: Km5bz and loved music.
    Chris was fluent in Spanish and loved talking to people everywhere he went.

    Chris is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Lloyd & LaVerne Rayburn, Marvin & Jettie Mae Owen.
    Chris is survived by his siblings Tammy Rayburn Prater, Cynthia Rayburn-Ballinger & husband Jacob, David Rayburn & wife Melissa, cousins Casey Riley Batson & husband Kevin, Lucinda Dunkin, Connie Rayburn, Steven Rayburn & wife Victoria, along with five nieces, three nephews and many other extended family members.

    A Celebration of Life for Chris will be held at 10:00am on Friday, June 19th, at Wilmont Place Baptist Church (6440 S. Santa Fe, OKC, OK).

    Hey thanks for posting this on here. My brother Chris, my father Berry KC5PWU/SK and I got into ham radio at about the same time and enjoyed the hobby very much. Chris will be missed.
