    Maybe they are on the wrong side of a mountain from the States. I can't believe how weak they are. Even a FT-817 into a Hamstick would be louder. Must be terrain eating up their signal

    Just happened to have the rig on 12 meters today listening "just in case" when they came on frequency calling CQ. No one answered after a couple of calls so got mine in and worked them. He asked me to spot him on the cluster, which I did, then it was off to the races for a bit. Hopefully this one shows up in the log! I heard them on 75 SSB this AM, but too weak for me to work (my antenna favors Europe on 80/75). That gives me 12 slots now without RTTY, 30 meters or 80.

    Same thing here, I was getting the DVK set for the contest this weekend. The pile up was on but did not have a problem getting them again. Hopefully its in the log tomorrow.

    Holy crap, just got them on 20 meters CW.

    I about fell out of the chair when they actually called back lol
