Zero 5 Vertical not loading on 160 or 80 .

    K8JD, thanks for reply. I do have a Unun matching transformer and has worked well for more than 3 years,I replaced it just to be sure and my next step will be to check connections between sections.

    To all who have posted to my posting of problems with my Zero 5 antebba, I thank you . I plan to take down the antenna when the weather gets warmer, I examined the antenna and noticed that some of the lower (heavy ) sections have slid together, thereby shortning the antenna. That combined with possible oxidation at the joints could well be my problem. I am going to take down the antenna, disasamble, treat joints with penetrox. I will post the results of that project at a later date.
