    I remember the 'Betty Ann' episode.

    But, not to be outdone, Paul Peterson's character on the Donna Reed Show was a ham. In one episode, he befriended a shy girl at school who stuttered. Then he wondered why a YL he met on air did not want to meet him in person. So he DF'd her signal.
