Thank you for sharing your experience! What was the fox hunt kit y'all were building? Did you make antennas also?
I just looked at the YOTA foxoring video from last week - it appears y'all were hunting on the 80m band? The receivers look kind of like a multimeter with a collapsible whip sticking out the top. How did the foxorers like using them?
Found it! Looks like the receiver kit is for the R3500D. I did not know about this one - I've always focused on 2m and higher frequency hunts. Thanks again for sharing!
Glad you found it, I wasn't able to get the answer for you yet. The kids had fun on the foxoring, you can see them running around in one of the highlight videos that YOTA put out.

Very great video and great seeing younger groups getting involved in Amateur Radio. Only request I have is if Colonoscopy on the air (COTA) Becomes a thing .... don't make it slow scan TV!
