I'm on frequency if anyone else is.

    EDIT: 14.329 that is.

EDIT2: Called CQ for a bit, no response.

EDIT3: Band is not that great, will have to try next week on 20m 40m or 80m, whatever is best.

I think that we should have a youth net on 80 meters.
3.990 is usually a clear frequency except in the mornings
6:00-8:00am (us eastern) when the rooster net takes place.

I am not hearing any stations on the net frequency. Should I run the youth net?

NAYN on 40 or 80 is best for evenings.

NAYN on 40 or 80 maybe best for evenings this winter.

Obseving your discussion I find it great young hams want to start a net. 20 meter propagation starts to die out soon after the sun goes down here in Iowa. Maybe when the sun spots ramp up that will change, give that a year.
This winter I suggest 80 meters or 40 meters.
My son K0VEE "Chris will join if you wish. He is 13 yrs old and attends the same school as Joey KD0HFZ.

Sorry for the leave of absence but running a net is just too much right now. If i did do it it would have to be on the weekends, but with school and sports and other activities its not ooking good. If anyone wants to volunteer to run the net that would be great. Any band works for me, 10m-160m.
