For about an hour this evening Chrome browser would not let me enter the forums telling me the connection wasn't secure and that hackers might be trying to steal login information. What was up with that? NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID is the exact error I got.
No, nothing like that. That looks like some kinda Trojan, or ransomware from an infected system. What I got was the error that I mentioned above, generated by Chrome running on my tablet. It was only on the ' https ' qrz.com pages, specifically when I tried to enter the forums.
OK. It normally means exactly what it says. NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID. That can happen for many reasons. When that happens, Try to refresh the page. I do notice that Facebook HTTP links lurk on QRZ now, Maybe one of those caused it. On Chrome, You can do a "Inspect Page" and see what is going on. Good Luck, Have Fun.
Yeah, that didn't work... for about an hour or so, then it cleared up. Not if Chrome won't let you load the page you can't.
I guess that depends on your advanced settings. I can manually load a page, Even if a virus is detected. Most users would not do that, But it is very useful to see what a virus is doing, Or trying to do. If the problem fixed itself, Then that must be the fix. Please Wait.....
Yeah, there was something going on with QRZ, I'm sure it wasn't the tablet. If I didn't know better, I would think some hackers were screwing around. Probably the Russians.
