I'm reading this on a 1280X1024 LCD "19 inch" display some 12 X 14 7/8 inches on the screen. Noticeably unsquare -- and a standard format, not counting the newer "wide" displays.

    Multisync

I have a MultiSyncLCD1765 I have been using for quite a while however it is not really compatable with all the new stuff that windows Vista has, but it's working and I can't really afford to buy another one right now so guess I'll keep it awhile yet.

    Ok, 15x12 is actually 1.25:1, or 5/4.
Never new that format existed, but then again, the advent of flat panels gave birth to so many new aspect ratios :)

    I'm a video guy so I think in 1.33:1 or 1.77:1 ;)

CRTs are finally all dead here, with one small composite unit kept around for testing stuff.

    Laptop 14.5" 1024X768
    Netbook 8.9" 1024X600

Or either on a AOC 19" 1680X1050 - which is also a HDTV.
