Question: For those of us lucky to belong to a club with a physical location for a station, does your club provide services-in-kind, pay rent, or is the dedicated space is provided as a courtesy?

Our property was donated to us, the club owns it and has for 60 years.

No choice in the poll for that.

Did not even consider that possibility!

W6ZE (OC Amateur Radio Club) only sets up for Field Day...a few years ago they put 9 stations on the air and did really well. It's tough to have a dedicated facility in SoCal...no space and too many restrictions...

The Saint Croix Valley ARC has no dedicated station. We do pool our resources for field day, host a small hamfest and offer classes and exam sessions several times per year. The local repeaters are also privately owned & maintained.

Sorry. "NONE OF THE ABOVE" apply. Our club station is club owned and operated, but located within a city owned commercial entiry.

Our monthly club meetings are held at a local City Community Center, and we provide personnel (and pay an activity $fee) for various activities at Christmas, Easter/Spring Fest and other activities, in lieu of "rental fees" for the meeting room; including the liaison for the local marathon. (I can't [or do not wish to] go into more personal) details. I don't officially speak for the club itself.

then again, our club station is in a location many operators would die for!:p

Our club station is on the county fairgrounds, it is in the matinee building with all equipment in the basement and a meeting room on the main floor. We just have limited access during the week of the fair but have 24/7 access the rest of the year. If you don't have a club house you might check with your local fairboard and see if something could be worked out.
