Anna Veal, W0ANT, the 2014 ARRL Hiram Percy Maxim winner, and the 2015 Amateur Radio Newsline Young Ham of the Year, was selected as the 2017 International Wireless Communications Expo/Radio Club of America, Young Achiever. She was awarded a scholarship to attend this international trade show held in Las Vegas and honored at the Radio Club of America's breakfast on March 30th, 2017, for her lifetime achievements in the hobby. Anna stated, "I was amazed at seeing all of the vendors from around the world incorporating IP and RF into some amazing products, and the generosity of the IWCE and RCA for allowing me to attend the show".
