    @ $129 for a built unit - not terribly bad...but -

For less than half the $ and some labor on your part the QRP labs QCX (kit) is a far superior unit - and if you buy pre-built, they sell for a mere $89 - $30 less the You Kits rig.

Cases can be can on-line as well.

So while, as you say, the YK rig is a neat little radio, the QCK is light-years ahead. I'll be selling my MFJ-9200 now that I'm dialed in on my KX-2 - the difference i the technology is just too great to ignore.

As for a case, perhaps you can the files here - https://www.thingiverse.com/ There are several radios featured. Use "QRP radio case" for a search string - you will see these sorts of posts...

I don't know the You Kits but I agree that the QCX is a great kit and final product. I built mine a few weeks ago.

I splashed out on the metal case from here https://www.bamatech.net/geraetegehaeuse/qcx-gehaeusebausatz.html

So ... I probably spent close to $100 but wow ... what great little radio.
