Why are you moving my keys to a different forum I do not manufacture these keys. I do recondition them so others can enjoy and use them. What's the story? Everyone else is able to sell reconditioned keys why have you fingered me out.

Your ads usually feature a large number of keys that you have refurbished including new cabling. This gives a very strong perception that you have turned this into at least a small business. As the Ham Made Gear definition stands, "Small businesses by hams, for hams" is the proper forum.

For what it's worth (which is typically very little when it comes from the SUB), I beg to differ. The Ham Made sticky note (Posted by Fred in 2011) does not describe the forum as such. Yes, it is for small businesses, but not small businesses reselling commercial gear:

This section has been created to assist new ham businesses get off the ground with products that are typically built and sold in a one or two person operation, often working out of garages and spare rooms. It is not intended for resellers of any kind, either commercial or hobbyist, but rather for the home grown, home brew, organic operations that have helped make amateur radio what it is today.

In the spirit of supporting small businesses, QRZ offers this forum free of charge to hams who build and sell on a small scale. It is not open to hams who buy and resell commercial gear. All merchandise offered in this section must have been built (manufactured) by the seller. Although their activities could be considered commercial, we hold these in a special class due to their small size and perhaps semi-professional or part-time nature.

This new forum establishes a place where our users may engage in a semi or quasi-commercial business. None of the businesses represented or selling in this section have been reviewed by or are endorsed by QRZ in any way. All transactions are strictly between the buyer and seller and QRZ assumes no responsibility whatsoever for the outcome of any transaction between the parties.

Since the sellers are not required to register in any manner other than a normal QRZ member, QRZ will not provide any information to prospective buyers other than what appears on the pages of the QRZ website. Certain information, such as the seller's private email address, will not be disclosed by QRZ unless the seller chooses to do so himself. This is in accordance with the way we treat private email addresses for all QRZ members.

QRZ will not provide customer support for any product that is sold on these pages. Buyers should note that QRZ does not recommend any of the sellers in this section and that there is no expressed or implied warranty from QRZ.

    Seller Rules

The following rules will be enforced for sellers in this area:

    • No merchandise resale - you may not re-sell merchandise that was purchased elsewhere. This means that equipment dealers are not allowed.
    • No more than one posting per week - this is the same as in the other QRZ swapmeet areas.
    • You must provide accurate contact info in your posting - all communications between buyer and seller should be by email and telephone. Do not use PM's as the PM system is not reliable.
    • You should state your warranty and return policy in your posting - whether your policy is "full money back, satisfaction guaranteed", or "AS-IS, no refunds", or something else, you must state your policy.
    • You must manage your own feedback in the Ham to Ham References section
    • QRZ reserves the right to reject or censor any seller for any reason
    • QRZ reserves the right to change or append these rules at any time

Certainly, QRZ can do whatever they want, but it WILL hurt John, and John's potential buyers by burying him in HAM MADE. AND, you will be violating Fred's rules by moving him there. Are you sure it is the "proper forum"? If so, you should revise the sticky so other people understand the rule change. John has been posting in FOR SALE for years without a peep from the moderators.
