    Looks like it's clamped to the chrome bumper, with coax going into the trunk. Hard to tell, but maybe he didn't have to drill any holes in his shiny new Mercury to install that antenna.

    You don't see bumpers like that anymore!

    I have a Par omni for 2m and put it on top of the truck sometimes just for fun but it's a bit clunky to live up there permanently.

    Reminds me of the Saturn 6 6M mobile "halo" ant with horiz polarization from the VHF AM days :D
