Yaesu FT-2980R discriminator output?

    This may be a long shot, but I just can't find this by googling, and there's no service manual in this regard.

    I'm looking for the discriminator output on a yaesu FT-2980R. Is it exactly the same as the FT-2900R, in which case it's test-point 1024? I don't yet have this radio, which is why I'm asking.

    This is for a cheap-as-possible APRS digipeater build.
