Im having a problem with my fl-2100f. The tubes are in transmit mode all the time. They get hot real fast. The amp goes into standby except for the tubes. An ideas?

Are you saying there is constant plate current? If yes, the bias may need adjusting. Are Svetlana brand 572B tubes installed?

Yes, It has constant plate current. It has Centurion tubes. Is there a adjustment for bias?or just different resistors?

I assume you mean Cetron tubes. There is a large variable resistor (it is not a potentiometer) on the underside. But I fear you may have a bias circuit problem.
Edit: Looking at the schematic the most likely failure is the bias electrolytic capacitor.

Or the relay contacts that place the resistor in line on standby and short it out for operating.

What are you using to key the amp?
