I have isolated transformers using rubber washers in-between the transformer and chassis. I assume the transformer laminations are tight. I have also tightened up the transformer screws on transformers with loose laminations and applied some lacquer to the laminations after tightening.

Never had this hum vibration problem myself . . . but I would try tightening the bolts that go through the transformer.

Also - I would not recommend modifying the bias circuit - the circuit in this amp never goes wrong . . . whereas the modified circuit used in the FL2100Z version fails all the time !

Same goes for the Relay - it goes on forever . . . and not a problem unless you want to work break-in CW. And also don't change the anode stoppers.

    the FL-2100 is ok.
    the problem was mechanical (fan)
and the screws of the Transformer.
