What do you need done to it specifically?

Not 100% sure, the receive is fine but transmit output is in question. Initially it tuned up on a dummy load but was questionable. Just want the radio checked and tuned up.

These are VERY easy rigs to re-align (not quite as easy as the original FT101 series, but still easy)

You don't even need any test equipment, just a dummy load.

What power output do you get on 80m?

David, it would be a little bit of a drive but it that’s not a problem you could connect with the guys at USECA. They meet once a month in Mt. Clemens. They have several knowledgeable hams that are members that, I’m sure, would be happy to check over your rig and tell you if it’s working properly. If you need some contacts, my email is on my QRZ.com profile. Just look up my call.
