Good morning all. I've been an early riser most of my life. As a professional soldier we joked about "In the Army we do more before breakfast than most people do all day". That may or may not have been true, but an 0500 wake-up was the norm, and 5-miles in by 0630. My second career was in the power industry. As a power plant electronics specialist I had it easy, work call was 0700. Then I promoted up to operations, running a chunk of the western power grid. Wake-up was 4:00 for an 5:30 shift change. Some days that was AM - some days that was PM. Since retirement I have been making a morning 80m gathering of friends at 0600. I fire up the station and it runs all day long with me in and out. I am usually shut down before 2300 in the evenings. I turn off everything overnight. I have an annoying issue with the QRZ XML look-up. At some point in the day the lookup stops functioning. It is annoying. But the look-up will not populate fields like GRID and COUNTY. If I catch it, deleting and restarting the logging process will work, all fields fill. If I don't catch it, I end up with a log entry with missing data in the look-up fields. I usually spot it later and go back to manually fill it in. It feels like there is a time-out timer for the QRZ look-up. Does anyone know about this? If it is timing out, how can I set it for a longer delay? Requiring a log-in every 24 hours would be cool. Even 18 hours would be enough for me. In the big scheme of things this is just an annoyance. This is what I often refer to as "A First-World Problem". If this is the sum-total of my annoyances today, I am truly blessed. I've seen enough of the third-world to know how lucky I am. But if there is a way to change this - it would remove one little annoyance that bites me nearly every day. ANYONE? You all have a SUPER Sunday! Stay safe and well. And - GO BEARS !!! Yeah, I grew up in Chicago. Vy73 - Mike - KD5KC. El Paso, Texas - DM61rt. SOTA W5T-Texas Association Manager. https://summits.sota.org.uk/association/W5T
